Thematic Planning in the Early Years Autism Classroom
This webinar is aimed at primary school teachers working with children in the autism class from Early Intervention to 2nd class who wish to plan effectively for their multi -class or multi -ability groups
Particiopants will:
Consider the use of themes to plan for cross curricular teaching for multi- class or mixed ability autism classrooms
Explore the use of literature based thematic planning
Discuss how to create theme packs and relevant related tasks and activities.

This series of webinars is designed to support teachers working in in early years Autism specific classrooms ( where all or the majority of the children are in the EI- 2nd class settings). Those considering working in these settings in the future may also find the course helpful.
A companion course for SNA's working in these settings will run in tandem with this course to allow the full class team to avail of training
Please note that while the theme/title of each session will be the same, the content is specifically tailored to the role ( teacher or SNA). While there will be overlap , it is recommended that participants attend the sessions relevant to their role.
